It's fun to look back
on some of the Zoom calls we had with hopeful entrepreneurs.
I would tell them they'd receive a grant for their business, everyone would cheer, and Jean would explain the Stardust story and follow up with tons of interesting questions.
We'd check in every few months so they could update us on how the grant money was used, how everything had been going, and if we could help in any way.
It was special to have those almost informal moments getting to know the smart, driven individuals our nonprofit was benefitting. And Jean is able to do that in person now, for Stardust Startups North Carolina.
The human element of Stardust is always what's made us stand out from other granting organizations. Some would say that’s our
