Impact and innovation in the plant-based industry 🌱
Exploring culinary alternatives to
traditional meat and dairy has become today a huge part of being an environmental activist.
Resources are becoming more scarce (animal agriculture requires significantly more water, land use, and crops than plant food) and pollution levels are at an all-time high.
According to a new report,
the plant-based food market will exceed $162 billion within the next decade from $29 billion just last year.

Going plant-based is a big step we can all take to help the planet (and ourselves), but it is just one piece of the puzzle. Remember to read your labels (organic, fair trade, etc.) and be smart when you shop!

What's going on @ Stardust...
➫ Thank you to those of you that participated in our very first auction! 📣We raised over $1,000 that will go directly towards a microgrant in our current Impact Portfolio. If you didn't
get a chance to bid on any items, don't worry, we're going to move all of our unsold auction items to a new eBay account. More on this to come...

➫ Read our featured article in Impact Entrepreneur magazine, the first online magazine and collaborative platform to cover the innovators,
funders, and broader ecosystems that are advancing the United Nations SDGs in every region of the world. 🌍Article by our writer Emma Leyland!
➫ Our dear Stardust friend Linda wrote a beautiful article retelling the origins of our organization in a local Coloradoan newspaper. Angus will always be the reason we continue to do this work. ✨Check it out in the Fairplay Flume.
➫ Co-creators and co-directors Jean and Camille got together in Colorado this September to celebrate Angus, Stardust's birthday, and to finally see each face-to-face (not through Zoom). It had been 3 years! 🤗
We also saw many people there that are currently supporting us, morally and financially, or are interested in what we're doing and want to help!
Wishing all those in the Stardust Startups community a beautiful fall season. 🍂
