At the individual level, money does contribute to life satisfaction, we cannot deny it. Yet it is not the sole nor the most important factor. Money cannot buy happiness. Then, why do we look at GDP as the ultimate measure of happiness at the macro level? Why don't we start prioritizing things like
education, healthcare and sustainability instead?
