March 8th was International Womenâs Day,
Â
hence the occasion to celebrate social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, along with gender equality and female empowerment. This yearâs theme #EachforEqual enforces gender equality as an engine for thriving communities.

Beyond taking part in the official day events, whether it is joining a march or posting an inspiring picture on Instagram, how can we keep striving for gender equality in our daily lives?
Â
You might want to support your male friend who wants to go on paternity leave. Or you may want to fight the beauty and diet culture for your daughters.
