| David Moloney
Mike, one of our esteemed Board of Directors, is a wonderful part of the Stardust team. His son David, who ran a charter boat company in the Florida Keys, died suddenly on October 3rd doing what he loved, just like Angus. We're thinking
of his son AJ, his wife Krissy, and the rest of his family and friends. 🌻💛

| Carolina June Smith
Lilyanne Smith, who is on our awesome Advisory Board, recently gave birth to a baby girl on October 15th. She is so cute, congratulations to Lily and Sam. 👼
|
| Marty Silverthorne
This Friday, we lost one of Stardust's original supporters. Marty donated some of his poem books for sale in our store and wrote a moving tribute to his wife Sylvia in our Starry Sky. Marty was
very close to the Moloney family. 💙

| Carter Pullam
Larissa is an incredible part of our Advisory Board. Carter, Larissa's little boy, turned 1 on September 30th. Happy birthday! 🎉😘

Congratulations to our fall 2019 funding recipient! We are thrilled to welcome him and his honey bee adventures to our Stardust family.
The James McAvene’s Meadery is a local business started by Phillip Nielssen that will produce honey-based wine (mead) and other honey products to help revitalize the honey bee population in Ohio and the demand for honey products in the USA as a whole. He named the business after his great-grandfather.
The $2,000 Stardust grant will help finance the building’s lease payments, an exhaust fan, a new sink, and floor polish for the space.
If you want to know more about Phillip's background, how he got inspired to start this project, his goals for the future, and some awesome things he'll be doing to reach those goals, be sure to read more about the meadery here.
This holiday season, as usual, we're having our annual donation drive, which you'll be able to contribute to and spread around (link coming soon). But this year we also have
some special opportunities:
- Don't have a gift idea for a friend or family member? Consider gifting them a donation to Stardust!
- Set up a named award: Give $2,500—cash, check, or card—to honor someone, such as a family member, or a focus area (e.g., The Angus Moloney Award for Social Impact).
- Or a named gift: Set up a special fund into which donations can be made on behalf of your family, business, or foundation. The minimum recurring gift is $100/year, but your donation site is open for giving at anytime by anyone.
- Stardust merch and chances to win! Donate smaller amounts for cool Stardust merchandise (tees, mugs, bookmarks, etc.) and a bigger amount for a chance to win a special holiday prize.
We'll send out more info closer to the holidays, but check out the Stardust store if you want to get a head start:
And our donation site is always open:
This past September, many friends and family of Angus stopped by Boulder, Colorado for a few days to join Jean and Jim on their annual hike for their son.
The time together opens wonderful opportunities for transforming grief to purpose, for finding joy and healing, and for connecting friends of Angus with the Stardust community.
September 26, 2020 will be the 5th anniversary of Angus's passing and we would love to see you there. Expect amazing vegan food, meditation time, live music, familiar faces, stunning nature scenery, cozy cabin living, and warm company.
Can't wait!
