Here at Stardust Startups,
we champion physical health and the amazing entrepreneurs all around the world making positive social impact within this field.
But like so many aspects of life, feeling healthy within our bodies means maintaining a balance. Contributing writer Eléonore, who is on her journey of recovery from anorexia nervosa, invites us to listen to our own needs and eat with love in mind.

Would you munch on a cricket? | Innovation
Animal agriculture and meat
production are some of the most polluting industries in the world, but many people still crave for animal-derived protein.
In the past few years, more and more emerging startups globally have begun to specialize in the production of insect food, for humans and for our pets. Neat!
|
| 🦗
The global market value of edible insects is expected to grow from about 406 million USD in 2018 to over 1.18
billion USD by 2023.

Here are a few startups taking advantage of this growing market:
- Entis and Exo Protein: These companies offer cricket-based protein-rich snacks.
👉 Check out Entis (Finland) here and EXO (USA) here.
- Illegal Oats: This Colorado company integrates ento powder (made from mealworms) into their all-natural granola.
👉 Check out their website here.
- Jiminy's and Tomojo: These businesses combine insect protein and plant-based ingredients into their nutritious (and sustainable!) pet food.
